Teaching is hard. You're doing a wonderful job.

I teach because complaining about "the next generation" means nothing. Taking an active role in shaping these children into the kinds of people who will one day make things better in our world is a far more valuable use of my time and resources. And I'm sure I won't help every child in my classroom reach their potential, but maybe I'll influence a few of them throughout my career. And maybe those children will grow up to make a real difference in society.
